Human-computer interaction is constantly exploring, defining, optimizing, and innovating the ways and experiences of interaction between humans and products and systems. From graphical interfaces, voice interaction, to tactile interaction, virtual reality, and then to brain-computer interfaces, ubiquitous computing... Technological breakthroughs are continuously expanding the boundaries of human-computer interaction. And technological change also constantly prompts us to rethink: How to create a more user-friendly operating system? How to design new interactive media to reduce metacognition and enhance knowledge internalization efficiency? How can human interaction with technology transcend the limitations of the screen? In order to achieve the organic integration of technology and life, build a future in which humans and machines coexist harmoniously, mastery of the core skills and methods of human-computer interaction will be particularly crucial.


The 'FusionX Human-Computer Interaction' course will guide you from initial understanding to getting started, stepping into the world of interaction design, understanding the field of human-computer interaction, and actively participating in shaping the future world. Through classroom teaching, you will build a theoretical foundation in cross-disciplinary fields such as cognitive psychology, computer science, behavioral science, informatics, interface design, experience design, industrial design, and design history, and proficiently master related essential tools. In seminars, you will deeply explore the hot frontiers of human-computer interaction, such as artificial intelligence, spatial interaction, emotional interaction, and multimodal design. In workshops, you will, guided by solving real problems or speculating on future issues, combine rich imagination and systematic thinking, participate in a complete human-computer interaction design cycle: brainstorming, design thinking, user research (such as user interviews, user experience maps), information architecture design, interface prototype design, usability testing, narration and expression, etc.

01 Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction

Theory: Understand the definition, origin, history, and development of human-computer interaction. Areas covered in the introduction to human-computer interaction include research directions, corresponding positions, value, influence, etc. Discuss the development and future of human-computer interaction. Understand the relationship between technology, design, and innovation using human-computer interaction as an example.


02 Design Thinking and Brainstorming

Theory: Learn and master the core methods of design thinking, such as the double diamond model and design process, and apply a people-centered approach to problem solving in innovative projects.

Workshop: Discuss and imagine problems closely related to life, and use different methods and tools for brainstorming training.


03 User Research Methods and Practices

Theory: Learn and master the core methods of user research to enhance understanding and insights into users.

Workshop: Conduct actual design research, conduct user interviews, create user personas, map user experience, and discover user needs and pain points to determine the core needs of users and the core application scenarios of the product.


04 Design Psychology and Cognitive Psychology

Theory: Using Apple Essential Design Principles and

*During the pre-course preparatory phase, mentors and academic leaders will assist in completing the prerequisite studies

How is the student-teacher ratio in the major courses?

In each year's X ACADEMY summer program, the ratio of mentors to explorers is 1:5, with 1-2 mentors and 2-5 course assistants (academic leaders) in each course. Compared to traditional large classes, you will have more abundant opportunities for communication and learning.
