Course Introduction 01

With the leaps and bounds improvement in computer processing speed, the development of data storage and processing technology, and the popularization of artificial intelligence, to some extent, the essence of everything today can be quantified as data and analyzed through artificial intelligence. By organizing and studying vast amounts of data, we are able to break through the limits of human cognition: using computational tools and AI models to help meteorologists accurately predict potential natural disasters, help doctors quickly diagnose diseases through cough sounds, and even help users discover their potential habits and preferences... In the future, mastering and using data science and artificial intelligence will become an increasingly important skill.

Research interests include the trustworthiness of software systems, such as program attributes, fairness, and interpretability. Focuses mainly on systems containing deep learning components, and has published articles as the first author at top conferences in the field of software engineering. Previously conducted research in the field of artificial intelligence safety and interpretability with doctoral students at the Future of Humanity Institute. This summer, may go to Shanghai Jiao Tong University to conduct research in artificial intelligence under the guidance of Professor Lu Sun. In high school, won awards including the HiMCM M Award, gold medals in mathematics and science at the USAD Global Finals, and various prizes at hack.init(), such as Best Hardware and Best Design. Additionally, led the design and development of several projects, including an epidemic information statistics and distribution robot, an intelligent classification garbage bin based on target recognition, and a Chinese character learning website. Hobbies include logic, linguistics, music, typography, and ultimate frisbee.

Statistics and Machine Learning, Carnegie Mellon University


Main focus is on data analysis and machine learning, familiar with the principles of various machine learning models, and particularly interested in deep learning. Projects completed in the third year include applications of deep learning in the field of image recognition (YOLO algorithm), face recognition (CNN), speech recognition (RNN), and conversion of speech segments to text (LAS paper reproduction), as well as a project on parameter quantization of deep learning models with a renowned professor at CMU. Hobbies include a variety of sports, particularly badminton and ultimate frisbee.
